Room 101!

Well, Ok, not room 101, more like post 101! Lol!
I cant believe that its been more than a month since my last post, doesn’t time fly!?!

Since my last post there has been a few things happen, some I had thought about posting about, but I just haven’t been able to get the time!

The nights are now drawing in, and the past few days has been sunny, unlike May and June!

I am now on a three week rolling rota at work, I am now working one in every three weekends.
Staying with work, one of the warehouse colleagues is cutting back his hours, and I’m taking over his Tuesdays, and will be bringing in deliveries!

Me and my girlfriend are still together, and on Sunday we go off on holiday to Jersey for a week. We will be camping. Its my first holiday on my own, and my girlfriends first out of the country!

One of my other less known websites http://linux.roganty.co.uk/ is being worked on. And I have nearly completed it. I just need to tidy it up, and make it more presentable

The spam count has reached 7,800. That’s 2,800 in just over a month! Thank you Akismet!

I think that’s it, for this post!
And hopefully not for another month!

New Style is now live!

As of 11:40 am (GMT +1 hour) the new site style, and my new blog went live.

What do you think about it?
I have re-opened up comments, so comment, and/or register, and tell me what you think.

Date announced for new site style

The new site style will go live on the morning of Sunday 1st October 2006 (GMT +1 hour).

Until then I will be doing the final touches to the new style, and I will make sure I don’t forget about the 404 error page!

Sunday 1st will also be the day my new blog goes live.

Stay tuned!

Nothing stays secret on the web for long
Ive been busily setting up my on blog on my website using WordPress, and importing posts from this blog using the RSS feed.

This morning i checked my emails and i had two emails from PHP Classes telling me that they had a trackback ping from my blog.
I’ve just looked in the 404 error database, and I’ve seen three different user-agent strings from bots that crawl blogs.
ping.blo.g
Blogslive (info@blogslive.com)s/2.0
Yahoo-Blogs/v3.9 (compatible; Mozilla 4.0; MSIE 5.5; http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/crawling/crawling-02.html )

Here’s the one from PHP Classes: httpclient (http://www.phpclasses.org/httpclient $Revision: 1.63 $)

I’ll make this “official” when I have the new site style up and running

Bye for now…
