I got one of the 'lucky letters' in the UK more than three years ago, just before I moved to Australia. I now work for a local newspaper in a small country town in Victoria and one of our readers has brought in a letter she's just received. Postmark shows it coming from Portugal but with a Madrid address on the letter. Similar format to what I remember before but prizes now paid in US$ instead of Euros and the agent is Dr Oscar Gonzalez (doctor of boivine scatology no doubt). Times must be hard as they only want 5% now instead of 10%. Will take pleasure in publishing a note to warn our readers. That's a lot less in Dollars than in Euros. And now I have to let the "agent" have ten % (!!!!) of "my" money, just for doing nothing? Oh no, I want it ALL for myself. Winners keepers !!
